Information submitted
Enquiry and contact forms may collect a name, email address, reference, and free-text message. Seller submissions may also collect phone, country, artwork details, provenance information, and price expectations. Reservation requests may collect name, email, phone, country, and work reference. Newsletter signup collects an email address.
How it is used
Submitted information is used to review and respond to the request, administer catalogue or transaction workflows, prevent duplicate or abusive submissions, and maintain operational records. Do not include payment information or sensitive identity documents in public forms.
Processors
The current application uses Vercel for hosting, Sanity for content and operational records, Resend for email, and Google Analytics when configured. These services may process data according to their own terms and the Hanga House account configuration.
Analytics and abuse controls
Analytics events are restricted to allowlisted, non-PII fields. Form-security counters use HMAC-hashed network or recipient identifiers rather than storing those identifiers directly in the counter record.
Access, correction, or deletion request
Email contact@hangahouse.com with the request and enough information to locate the relevant record. Some information may need to be retained where required for security, dispute, transaction, or legal purposes.
Outstanding policy work
The registered business address, processing regions, detailed retention schedule, deletion workflow, and production analytics-consent configuration are under documented review. The site will not add new tracking identifiers or direct public uploads until that review is completed.
